| Anorthosis has been drawn to face Pyunik Yerevan for The Champions League. The winner will advance to face Panathaniakos of Greece in the 2nd round. |

| 0-0 AT HALF TIME. The Pyunik goalie had an awsome first half. DT you never know, it just takes one lucky break for Pyunik and they can leave winners. PS I prefer Banants the club was formed by Armenians from Cyprus and Greece. |

That is what we thought about APOEL last year against Bate.  Apollon against Cork City  For some reason are Champions have not been perfoming well while are UEFA CUP teams have been getting all of are points. Anorthosis had the chance to finish them and they couldnt had they won 2-0 or 3-0 I would say they are through. Pyunik played defensive today the whole match. Believe me they will be attacking for 90 minutes in Yerevan and unless Anorthosis takes them serious, I promise they will lose just like are last 2 Champions. |

18 shots at goal and 3 posts. Someone is crap here, its either the Armenian defense, the Anorthosis forwards or both.
If the Armenian's play like they played here they'll lose that's for sure. Full attack with Anorthosis doesn't work out so well cause they'll lock up in the back and then attack once and score which is pretty much how they became champions last year.
Best thing which is the way apoel beat them easily in the Cup Final was to add speed to your wings. Anorthosis is nothing if not a very very slow team. They'll build up their game really slowly and are slow back to defend on the break. |

I can confirm, Anorthosis played crap yesterday, they were just lucky to get the penalty that they did.
Loads of chances just messed them all up. However, they did win and thats all that counts at the end.
They have a lot more work to do. |
