| im british greekcyp.i have british passport and cypriot id.i dont do the army even though once upon a time they was about to change the law but a lot of fuss was made so they couldnt.the id dosent mean you have dual nationality,for that youll need cypriot passport but dont bother with that.id you will need for bank and general identification |

| Yep your right, there is absolutely no point having a Cypriot passport for me, on the end of the day I can vote without a passport and my ID is just as good as a passport in most respects. |

You can vote in Municipal and European elections if you apply, but you need Cypriot Nationality to vote in parliamentary and presidential elections.
You can even get Cypriot Nationality if you have been here long enough. I am in the process of applying at the moment. |
