Can anyone give me advice? Where is it better to live? North or South? Obviously i know of the divide. I have only ever been to the South but people tell me the people in the North are much friendlier, housing much cheaper obviously because they are not in the EU, houses built to a better standard and its mean't to be more beautiful. I have heard the GCs don't like the Brits now they have their money?

All I can say is that it seems a shame you don't have enough about you to find out yourself where you want to live and listen to 'people'.
If you are a Brit (and I don't actually think you are) you will know that the Foreign Office advise you not to buy in the north as you may be buying stolen property. If you are a Brit you'd have to ask yourself if you'd hand over 50k plus to a possible burglar in the UK for an item he's selling.

I'd hazard a guess that you are either a young kid who's having a boring Sunday and thinks he's being clever trying to start another silly thread or you are one of the few daft members on here of indeterminate age doing the same. Either way you make yourself sound a bit simple.

Erm, you're asking strangers on the internet where you should live? If you don't know yourself then perhaps you should stay where you are until you do know.

Why do you need to come on the forum to ask for such generalised advice? Surely you can ask 'people'.

Sorry you think I'm 'up myself' just because I exposed you for a twollock.

People can advise you on some things but they can't tell you 'come and live here'. Everywhere has it's benefits, it depends on so many factors that are all personal to you.

Your best bet would probably be to spend an extended amount of time in Cyprus, visit both sides if you want and see where 'feels' right.

Obviously you should bear in mind that if you go North then you're living in an illegal regime and should definitely be wary of whom you buy your property from.
