Celebrities do not enhance one's stay in a hotel, they genrally curtail the enjoyment of other hotel guests.
The management of said hotels genrally focus on the single celebrity and curtail movement of other guests to certain areas of the hotel.
So pointing out celebrities who visit certain hotels does not act as a draw for me, in fact it put's me off wanting to stay at these hotels. I had a recent experience in a hotel in Egypt where a whole restaurant was closed for the evening as a member of state visited and his security team deemed any other guest eating at the same time was too much of a security risk. |

Hubby and me have a special anniversary coming up and want to stay a few nights in a special hotel. Good food, scenery, service, lovely rooms, cocktail bar etc.....
I have thought about the Anassa, any other ideas or is this the best? |
Hi Niki mou, I can recommend the Elysium in Pafos, excellent hotel |
.................or why not just go camping in Polis instead??
The excellent aroma of the eucalyptus trees, the quiet lull of the nearby waves, the pleasant walk into Laatsi and of course an evening underneath the stars whilst Mr N does the BBQ!
(This 'less expensive' version is to encourage Mr N spend more money on your well deserved present! ) |

Stick to Anassa , incomparable with fantastic views !!
My favourite in Limassol is the Amathus . |
Don't encourage her ... it's too close to my home territory!
Niki .. Listen to Richard ... go to Nicosia, dear! |
Or if the Regina Palace is full ( as it is very popular with the young 'Get a headers')
Tony's Bed and Breakfast in th Laiki quarter would be an ideal substitute
for you for that 'never to be forgotten' weekend |
Aah so many happy memories at the regina, so much laughing, so much fun....
back to subject
Try the Elysium in Paphos or as an alternative get one of the suites at Lenos in Kakopetria/ |

| The Linos Inn in Kakopetria has very romantic rooms with four poster beds. The furnitire is old in keeping with the style of the buildings, but the rooms have all mod cons and lovely bathrooms. The Old Mill Restaurant is just across the river with great food and wonderful views! |

Are you serious??? Camping at a time when one on one attention and luxurious food/champagne is demanded?
The present is very important agreed but camping?
The Elysium however does appeal also thanks Bubbles mou. |

There was a very lovely hotel called the 'Colon' in Barcelona! Doesn't that conjure up nice thoughts? |
