About a year I had a try of a floatation tank in Golders Green. It was a room pitch black so you couldn't see a thing, total silence in the room with you just lying in a small pool/tank, totally floating on the top of it. When I done it, I felt so relaxed for days, nothing could stress me out.
Was wondering if there was such a thing in Cyprus? would love to do it again. |

Its one of the most relaxing, if not THE most relaxing things you can do. It brings all your other senses into play, touch (though its only water), smell, sound.....
You do get the option to have soothing music in the background if you wish |

No, a Jacuzzi is something totally different.
The water in the tank or pool is around 2 foot deep. It gives the same effect as the dead sea, but its aspholt salt in there. You are lying down in it, but are litterally floating on the top of it. You will NOT sink.
Brother, I can't remember how much I paid for it to be honest with you, but I done it for 45 minutes. If I were to do it again, I'd go for a 30 minute option instead as that seems a little more balanced.
This is the place I went to.
