There are general warning signs against parking and clear indications for drop off and pick up zones. There are also a couple of nice men directing you as appropriate.
Can we have some evidence that they are clamping, as so far no one I have spoken to has seen this. But of course airport security are well within their rights to take necessary measures.
Sorry if this inconveniences the normally "legal" minded visitors to the "trnc" as they use / misuse our airport facilities and roads to make their way to the stolen GC properties they have purchased from the thieves and scoundrels occupying the north of our Island. |

Cheaper, more regular flights to begin with. And no passport control for Military srvice checks.
Mind you I use Larnaca as I will pass through Anglissidhes before I turn towards Nicosia at the Kophinou junction. Two birds with one stone.
Lena, you tell them. ...phew. Why apologise? |

The photographer was assulted by the clamper who demanded his camera needless to say it was not handed over.
Also in breach of cyprus and eu law no warning signs no notice of penaltys were displayed [/url] |

I think those big yellow stripes are a warning sign ...
Not everyone can read, or read English, or read Greek!
So written signs are superfluous (where visual clues suffice) at an airport ...
But the big Yellow stripes are a sure-fire give-away of what you are not supposed to do in any language!
Even a chimp would know yellow stripes mean Danger! ... why go and leave your car there?
BTW ... He was within his rights to object to being photographed .... Are you sure you are within yours in putting his photograph on the Internet ...
Breach of Privacy (I have deleted it from my quote for your sake .. may I suggest you follow suit)...
P.S. Fuzz out the Car registration number too! |

| I could never get the concept of clamping except as a means of making money. If a vehicle is causing an obstruction get it moved, to clamp it just makes it harder to move. A big yellow fork lift truck should be sufficient warning for even the thickest driver. |

I think the logic behind clamping first, is that it costs money to call out the removal trucks to clear the obstructing vehicle.
Since the owner causing the obstruction is liable for the removal of the vehicle, they clamp to make sure someone is still around to be accountable for the costs incurred. |
