I have been wondering of late how many Greek Cypriots have moved to the occupied areas since the borders opened? I am guessing that this number is incredibly small, but nonetheless must exist.
Unsurprisingly, many Turkish Cypriots now reside and/or work in the South, but what about vice-versa? |

One. Fanos Droushiotis. From what I've learned at this forum he's a crook. The 'TRNC' is like a sanctuary for crooks of all sorts.

| Are GCs permitted to reside in the north? TCs are regarded as citizens in the south and can stay as long as they please. I think the situation is different in the north. Check it out. |

Tony Angastiniotis, freelance GC photojournalist.

| After completing the documentary, Angastiniotis did not return to the South and now lives in the North, yet he feels trapped in the Green Line, similar to other Turkish and Greek Cypriots whose hearts he believes lie on both sides of the barbed wire fences. A reporter asks Tony what he would do if there were a war in Cyprus today, to which he simply replies "I would stand on the Green Line and get shot from both sides." |
