| The dog was eaten because I and my hosts were starving. The sea slug was on my plate at a dinner party, to not have eaten would have offended, in fact it was nice. |

I had rabbit in Paella in Spain quite a few years ago, and I believe that this is more traditional than chicken? |
It depends on the region I think. The traditional Paella Valenciana has rabbit and chicken afaik.

I love rabbit - but have never tried Hare. |
It's different. Hare has a specific taste of 'wild game' meat. Some people can't stand that specific taste, some love it.

If I were starving then I would probably re-consider, but wouldn't choose it off a menu!! |

Deep fried Mars bar in Scotland
Yorkshire pudding in Lancashire, yuck. |
Purdey mou, you must have had a 'bad' Yorkie then as they are delicious!
I believe they are served as a main meal in Yorkshire - with the meat, gravy and vegetables on top of one huge pudding!
They are not easy to make (or is it just me?) so back home I used to buy the frozen packs of 'Aunt Bessie's' |
