read the title, then read the last sentence, i even put it in bold for the drunk and lazy.  What is it with these guys, how the hell can you get a solution with this attitude?
Turkey's Top General Says Turkey Wants Solution In Cyprus

ANKARA - Turkey's top general said on Wednesday that Turkey wanted a solution in Cyprus.
Gen. Yasar Buyukanit, the chief of General Staff of Turkey, said that Turkey wanted a fair and lasting solution in Cyprus.
"We should think how we can achieve a fair and lasting settlement," Buyukanit said during a reception hosted at an officers' club in Ankara on occasion of the Armed Forces Day of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
Buyukanit said that Turkish troops were in the island for the security of both Turkish and Greek Cypriots.
"If the island is living in peace since 1974 (Cyprus Peace Operation), this is because of the Turkish Armed Forces," Buyukanit also said.
Buyukanit also said that the Cyprus problem was in fact solved in 1974.

To you unbelieveable statement. To Tcs pure fact. Dont you know when to partis fight always diferent opinions. Every singel TC agree Cyprus problem was solved in 74. |

Fine! Since the problem has been solved, the occupied north will still be under a trade embargo and there will be no such thing as Turkish Cypriots in 50 years time.

Solved in the sense of surviaval and existnce for Tcs. Now solve other isues like proper setlement that will not make Tcs second class sitizens and share of power and equal to Gcs.
Is this what all meetings with 2 presidents, UN, EU and rest of world for? |

| Eracles the Turks want to expand against our island. That is their aim. They killed 10000s of Cypriots and they transferred to our island 10000s of Turks and give them our land. They did this in 1571 and they keep doing it in 2008. The only way to save ourselves from the barbarians is to eliminate them. No other solution exists. You can not find a solution with words with barbarians. It is impossible. |

I mean a final solution as envisaged by easykill for cockroaches. Or you see any other solution for Cyprus getting rid of the Turkish plague Tim? If you know then tell me. All I see is Turks invading us, killing us, and sending more and more Settlers to give to them the lands they stole from us. They started in 1571 and they continue until 2008. Do you see any other way we can get back what is ours? Tell me Tim. Because we have been trying with negotiations for 34 years and you see that the Turks have not changed one iota with just giving them words. They want some nice metal passing throw their heads. That is the only thing that will definitely chance their minds. |

Sotos, you're a little man talking big..what a joke. If the GC's or Greece had any balls dont you think they would have tried to rid Cyprus of TC's and Turks within the last 35 odd years???
What are you waiting for?? for Turkey's armed forces to get even bigger and stronger or perhaps your waiting for Turkey to procure nuclear weapons first so that south cyprus can be wiped out easier??
