| I don't know if there are aliens out there but in a way I hope there aren't. It would be really crap if the scientologists are right. Tom Cruise doesn't need to look any more smug than he does already. |
Despite and in spite of Tom Cruise ( ) and all the other scientologists .... Man has been speculating about the existence of other life forms for so long now ...
Why have we had no real evidence of extraterrestrial life forms ... when all statistics suggest the Universe should be teeming with them ...
And all we get now is that yes there is water, wherever we have looked ... but where is the life? ... We were led to believe, where there is water, there is life ... that has not happened yet ... |
Maybe there was once life in the universe but it all died out? Maybe everything on Earth is all that's left.
Or maybe there is other life out there but they want nothing to do with us because to them we're just a bunch of primitive savages. According to Star Trek, aliens don't want to know us until we can travel the stars at lightspeed.
Or maybe I've just watched too much sci-fi |

Yeah
Basically we are still trying to find traces of Carbon based life forms ... because that is what we are ... when we should open our minds to life-forms based on say Silicon ..... like computers ... or others
The main problem is the Americans have the money ... but they do not necessarily have the know how or imagination .... |
