According to news reports the man was hit in the body twice, went down, and as the officer approached to check on him got up and wounded the officer in the face and neck. He then wounded another officer before going down. He is now in intensive care.
As in other cases of such incidents in small communities it is obvious that people knew of his instability, but no one heeded the warning signs. Now they will blame the availability of knives and ban them, we will all be told to eat with plastic knives or turn to chopsticks.
The man also used a car as a weapon, seriously injuring two doctors, but ofcourse no one will propose banning cars. |

Whoa! He went down, played possum, then got up after being shot twice!!!
Ok, that is not the bullets effectiveness, that guy really is a maniac that can did not feel any pain. That is way beyond the adrenaline effect IMO.
I agree with you guys, he didn't get stopped by being shot because of his mental state.
