I know the square you are talking about. I must have passed it and seen it without realising it |

I can't wait until the tourists arrive in Larnaca, at the moment the place is dull as dishwater! Larnaca people are strange, very unwelcoming towards tourists......you really notice the difference when you take a trip to Ayia Napa or Paphos. |

I'm sure the town will be really friendly when the tourists arrive but will the tourists remain friendly for long.
I took my daughter to a cafe on the promenade about two months ago and was charged £4.60 for TWO nescafe's.
Won't be rushing back to that town.
ps. same order a few days ago on Limassol promenade cost £2.60 still a bit expensive but not extortionate. |

City ~
I went to T.A.P. Donohues last night with the intention of having 1 beer before leaving. just to see what the place is like. 3 hours later I was still there, chatting away to Billy the barman and Busch, one of the Slovakians that drinks there. It was fairly empty there as there was a darts party somewhere in town where all the participants. Billy was making sure I was ok, kept coming over for a chat and introducing me to people.
Because I was driving, I went over onto drinking coke which resulted in me being called a boring bastard by Billy (in a joking way)
Thank you City, think I have a new place to visit on a very regular basis now |
