Apartment or Hotel wanted from Jan 3rd to Feb 7th 2009 - 5wk

Postby coupleuk » Sun Aug 10, 2008 12:36 pm

Hi

My wife and I are looking for an apartment or villa for 5 weeks starting Jan 3rd 2009.

Can anyone suggest best places to look please - or does anyone here have anything available.

We are also looking at hotels which are open at that time of year - suggestions welcome (ideally in or nr Pathos[sp]).

We can get an all-inclusive deal (inc flights, transfers, half board and drinks) in Malta for £750pp (total £1500) - so that is the sort of price we are looking at "all in".

I appreciate we may not get anything in Cyprus for close to that but it doesnt hurt to enquire does it.

Thanks
Paul

Hi Paul, Easyjet flights seem to be quite cheap at the moment towards end of first week of January. I have a nice new apartment in a district of Paphos called Chlorakas if you are interested. I would recommend a hire car though if you want to eat out as whilst there are a few places around, the main eating of area of Paphos is about ten minutes drive away.

Cheers, Graham.

If the resort isn't too important you could try the Golden Arches in Limassol.

Half Board prices in Winter are around £11pp per day. My parents booked their flights with Monarch flying into Larnaca from Manchester for £335 for 4 weeks (Nov - Dec)

Thanks for the replies.

TBH I was expecting a huge number of property owners to come forward - I guess they're all full in January LOL

I think we will be going for the Malta option as that price has actually been reduced to £703pp.

I will wait to hear back from Golden Arches before making a final decision.

Thanks All
