Only disastrous in comparison to last year re... otherwise a good season for the Arse's... just can't compete with Abramovitch's wads of dough...

I am so glad my search turned up this website as it has answered some of my questions as I am hoping to watch Ireland play in Cyprus too.

Scooter, if you check out www.fai.ie the Rep. pf Ireland website, it says the match is to be played at the GSP Stadium. For flights, you could try Cyprus airways, they seemed quite reasonable but that was from London but they may go from your end of the country too.

My question is: is it possible to rent a villa somewhere on the outskirts of Nicosia or should we go for a hotel on the coast and which is best north or south coast?

Since the game you are going to watch is in GSP you should stay in the areas in Republic of Cyprus, and not in the northern areas occupied by Turkey.

Bhoys & Ghirls we are also over for this game and staying at our apartment in Paphos for two weeks. How easy will it be to get tickets from the CFA as we dont think we will get Ireland end tickets ? We obviously can use our Paphos address when applying if this helps.
