Was she abusive to you? I doubt it, this Lady just knows how to tell it.
It wasn't a very nice response, you should apologise to her.

Then state your opinion without such foul language.

Actually I should be taking my own advice, but hey I am allowed, cos I get angry too easy.

Usually Michalis you write some good stuff, this has brought you down in my estimation. Oracle is doing us GC a fantastic service , we should all support her more.

The Turkish minority in Cyprus can be like the Greek minority in Turkey and like every other minority in every other country. They can be equal citizens, with their 100% of human and minority right, but they have no right to impose on Cyprus their will.

Are you suggesting that Christofias in the forthcoming negotiations proposes a solution where the Turkish Cypriots will become a minority with all minority rights guaranteed?

I am not sure what you mean by "will become a minority" Bananiot. Are they now the majority and they will "become a minority"? Minority is what they are and what they have always been.

The problem of Cyprus for centuries is that Cyprus and Cypriots have been ruled and oppressed by some minority/oligarchy of people who were brought on our island by those who invaded us and who were serving the interests of those foreign powers and not the interests of Cyprus.

Solution to this Cyprus problem means for Cypriots to finally become free from those foreign rulers, and rule their own island in a democratic way like every other normal democratic country in the world. TCs in this democracy will be equal citizens with all their rights guaranteed, but not our governors who will run Cyprus on behalf of Turkey.

If your "solution" is to exchange "Big Problem A" with "Even Bigger Problem B", then thanks, but no thanks.

Dear Alekcen,

Quote:
thank f*** for people like you. If you and your type had been in the majority in 1960 we would not today be in this fucking mess. No tc killings, no revenge, no enclaves, no Turkish invasion, no 4000 dead/ missing, no 200, 000 homeless. No four hundred years of built up resent for each other. Instead we would have said thank-you Greece, Turkey, Britain and bye.

We would have forged our own country.

I do hope you are gc and not just posing, coz Cyprus needs your thinking and also from the Tc side too, if we are to ever form one country. I feel I owed you a note of support, coz you are gonna take a whole bunch of flack from other gc’s. Personally I don’t respond to most stuff here coz its just dragging out the Greco/ Turkish wars into cyberspace.

I take great note of your comments, and respect them. I would be grateful if you could answer this question. I would like to know what proportion (in your opinion) other gc Cypriots share your views ? I feel there is a growing number.

Respect.

Dear hasannagi

Am a greekCypriot and i live in limassol, i assure u for that Smile

I can say u that the percentage now is changing, many people have changed their attidute towards turkishCypriots and how they think about the Cyprus problem. Many realise that this is our last chance. Our numbers are growing , even though the supporters of papadopoulos and other nationalist call us traitors and cowards.

(I ve been in this kind of debates for years now. I had the chance to debate with many people and politicians from both sides.)

I can assure that no matter how much the nationalist throw against us, we are not going to be silenced. Dont be dissapointed by the things u here in this forum, as u can see many of them use football slogans rather than arguments.

Something last gardas ( aderfe) Kibris da baris egeleleme!!!

You maybe of the opinion that your numbers are increasing, but thats just your opinion, you are entitled to that. From the people with whom I speak to their feelings are miles from yours and you can kid yourself all you like but thats the case.

Again, I don't understand how you can come to the aid of the enemy, as Bananiot does and then have to audacity to tell us that we should conceed all to the turks. The GC has compromised no end of times, show me please the compromises your fellow turks (the ones you hold in such high esteem) have made to just. They just contiunue to stab at us while you hold us down and you want me to respect you for that? I don't think so.

Hade kanei se, kai se varethika.

Eimaste dyo, eimaste tris, eimaste xilioi dekatris ....

Pantheman, the worst Turk is in your mind. This is 2008, the world is changing fast and your kind remain steadfast in 1453. The biggest investors in Turkey are Greeks and Greek banks are doing great business in Turkey.
