We're looking for a traditional Cypriot resort

Postby judie » Fri Oct 31, 2008 5:39 pm

Hello
I am thinking of going to Cyprus with my husband next June. We would like to stay somewhere that is not full of British bars and fast-food chains. We would prefer somewhere with a more Cypriot feel. We don't need clubs, but we enjoy people watching in bars, and eating in local restaurants. Can anybody recommend somewhere? We are late 40's/early50's.javascript:emoticon('')

We did consider Northern Cyprus, but it seems to be quite expensive to fly there.

Pissouri...

Get a flight to Pafos (20 mins away) or Larnaka (60 mins) and it is right off the motorway.

It is a lovely village, plenty of bars/tavernas, etc. and I live here...

There is also a beach with its own tavernas and bars just five minutes away by car (or four minutes there on a bicycle and 45 minutes back - I'll leave you to work out the geography).

:D

Very welcome I'm sure...

Would you by any chance be looking for a multi-Gym? 8)

No I don't think so, but I am looking for a two-bedroom villa in Pissouri with pool and barbecue
