As a regular reader of the forum, well not so regular now, due the same old topics being raised about the past, I feel its getting boring, so lets have more up to date topics, and put all the old Cypriot problems on a seperate site, then I would probably suspect there would be nothing to discuss on the forum site, thus defeating my suggestion.

Well actually no. There would still be the jolly old British bashing, Imerialist lackey's, colonial oppressors, george bush, Football teams, Tourists, lack of tourists, russians. why cypriot men are marrying eastern bloc women and weakening the gene pool etc etc.
However i do agree with you - the site is getting boring! its just the same old few posters, newer ones being insulted, ridiculed or chased away.
In fact there are so few regular posters perhaps it would be better if they just txted each other?

I contemplated Bloody Old Fool, but thought that Boring Old Fart seemed more appropriate.

I find the forum very interesting, despite the ranters and although I have lived in the local community for over 30 years, I have found out many things that I did not know about Cyprus since I joined the forum.

Just like school there's always the ones that moan they are bored and can't think what to play whilst all the time expecting others to find something amusing for them to do.

As a poster of a few recent topics straight from the British press, and a poster of past opinions about the British etc I find the threads which generate the most replies are not the sensible news-worthy threads, but the good old British bashing types.

The very stuff you moan about .... it seems to me you are just feeling left out at the mo.

If you have an interesting topic in mind ... just post it ... otherwise go and read a book!

Nothing gets me inflamed on this forum since all those "sensitive" types just keep moaning if we have a heated discussion, and then moan if it goes quiet, and then moan if we only talk about politics and then moan if we ....
