She's 7 months old re... plus we're getting her spayed in the summer... Westies have big problems with ovarian and uterine cancer in later life, spaying them after their first heat cycle massively reduces the chance of getting it. She had her first heat recently... didn't like being kept within our fences for 3 weeks...

Is that right? I know absolutely nothing about dogs - all we have in common is the mutual loathing. Still, if it's for the best, I think you should just do it and not give it another thought.

Mutual loathing

My dog is about the daftest dog I think I've ever seen... she doesn't realise she's a dog, she thinks she's a human being... funniest thing about Scruffy is that she won't eat her Cesar unless it has a little bit of (freshly grated) halloumi on it... such a Cypriot!

Man, you feed a dog caesar salads! Jesus Christ, I'll never get this pet thing.

By the way, I have not the slightest idea what your brand new signature means, but my burnout brain has come up with a translation that would be given if my life depended on providing one:
'Rejoice, children! The old man cannot impose his will on you.'
I'm sure I'm as close as can be.

Oi re... not ceasar salads... Cesar is a meaty dog food (her favourite is Turkey with Chicken and Pasta, having tried a bit I can see why!)...

My signature means "Stand aside plebians, I am on Imperial business."

Pampered is right... she eats better than I do  ... FYI she had Mediterreanean lamb with vegetables this morning... and the ubiquitous dose of grated halloumi...

Well, Beardie will eat anything but anything, the more the better! He is a 25 kg Cypriot multipedigree who adopted us just 2 years ago! We get free stuff from the butchers (pig's trotters, pig's head, liver, kidneys) and we boil it up, a few kg at a time with some carrots, sweet peppers (he adores them), some Bulgar wheat, rice or pasta. We freeze it in 450 g portions which is one day's ration, along with a handful of those crunchy nibbles.

We also make dog biscuits for him which he really goes mad for, as treats and rewards. Much better than commercial biccies and quite easy to make.
