Yep our (first) cypriot multipedigree (mutt) managed to eat a 3/4 full box of firelighters and then was promtly sick! Now whenever I am in the shops with my partner and they deleiberate over which caaned dog food or dry biscuits to buy - I point out that if the dog will eat firelighters she will not be to bothered which selection of dog food is made.

She's been a fussy eater since we got her as a small pup, refuses to eat unless she likes something, even if she goes 2 days without eating

So we gave her a little bit of halloumi to try and she's been addicted ever since. Since we don't want her to choke on its rubberiness, we grate a whole halloumi at the beginning of the week, keep it airtight and sprinkle a little in her Cesar twice a day... if you leave it out she won't eat it! We also brought back some pre-grated halloumi from Cyprus in the plastic tubs, she wouldn't touch it, has to be fresh   Fussy little thing... she's cute though.
