My company, Mostra Communication based in Brussels, is making a short video for the European Commission about the increasing mobility of different nationalities within Europe. We are filming three or four examples of people - young and old - who have chosen to work or live in other parts of Europe.
I would like to film a sequence with a British couple who, ideally reaching retirement, have decided to move from the UK to sunny Cyprus. Can your internet forum our yourself help me to find a couple like this which would agree to let themselves film in their everyday life and which could answer questions in front of the camera? There would be no fee to pay I'm afraid. But it should be interesting and enjoyable, and we'd give you a copy of the finished film (about 10 minutes long probably). So please contact me as soon as possible to say if you think you can help....
The objective of this video is to explain which administrative steps they had to undertake to move, which types of problems they met, which services they contacted, etc. This video will be broadcast this summer all over Europe.
Best regards,
Stéphane Lauwerijs

Old misery-guts here says NO WAY!
a) it would be an invasion of our privacy
b) us old geezers are not photogenic
c) if I wanted a 10 min video clip, I'd direct it myself
d) I'd expect to be paid if Mostra Comms were being commissioned to make this film
e) we didn't retire from England, but from Switzerland (we left the UK in 1963)
f) wouldn't want to do it
g) our dog would welcome the TV team with open jaws, as would be befitting. |

mostra.com doesn't work, but mostra.be for Belgium. Both given sites look like its a company that provides the above described films and info for anyone that is interested. So sounds like they do not have a purchase order from European Commission but wish to offer them the film when its ready.
Still sounds halfway serious... |

How dodgy does the title of this thread sound?
Did anybody else imagine that they wanted pensioners for some kind of sick sex movie?
I hate seeing pics of old people shagging. Really turns my stomach!
Only yesterday, an old woman that I know (aged about 50) told me that she'd has some lesbo loving the night before with her friend. I did NOT need to hear that, the images that have been left in my mind are no good!
I just hope she wasn't hinting to get in about my minge! LOL |

I assume you're not that old Marinella, given that you think 50 is old...
I'm sure this project is slightly more honourable than 10-minutes of geriatric gang-bangs... |
