i know a similar one with blond and paint:
a blond woman wanted to paint her house during the summer time so she bought some paints from the hardware store and got to work. when her hubsand came outside to see her he saw she was wearing two huge fur coats. the husband asks: what are you doing? and she replied "the label says best results when using 2 coats" |

Don't worry about getting all the jokes, at least your trying!!
Some of the English we use is a bit difficult to understand because it's slang (san xopiatika as to poume) - those of us that have actually lived in the U.K. really know what these guys are on about (and sometimes I dont get the jokes either!)

Well in general I dont understand most of the jokes, but at least I say it. I am not the kind of person that just laugh in order to join the group of others (that laugh). If I dont understand it, I just say it.
Yes I also agree with you about the language, there are a lot of words that I dont understand because itīs slang, but I am a quick learner  Another reason is the thing that I didnt study abroad, I was born and raised here in Cyprus, and I got my degree also here in Cyprus. |
