Hello filenada, kala ime.
How are you? Yes I was at the beach all day yesterday- glad to see the weather is finally sorting itself out.

I liked what you said about the joke you posted, you're right we have to appreciate our life and not keep wanting more and more, sometimes I feel like I've lost the meaning of life, so worried about money and material items and not enjoying my youth and my kids and my hubby and the wonderful nature that Cyprus has to offer. You don't have to be rich to enjoy life but so many people are under this impression.
Example:
On Saturday I took my kids to the lunapark with my hubby we were running after the kids playing with them etc... I noticed a really lovely BMW parked in the parking lot brand new and I had said to my hubby that I really liked it. Then we saw this really naughty kid running around the luna park, he was being chased by his Phillipinian house maid / carer, the father obviously separated from the mother was sitting alone shouting on his hands free not interested in the fact that his kid was running riot and the poor woman couldn't control him. It was obvious that his son wanted some attention. Anyway as we left and pulled away from the parking lot we saw that the lovely BMW was his, and I was just happy that it wasn't mine :)

Lisa honey, unfortunately we didnt go to the beach, instead we went to the baptism of a beautiful boy.
I agree with you 100%. I realised that if you get less money, you manage your life with that money, but when we get more and more money we make so many expenses and at the end is all the same! If you get a raise for example £100 you will say oo I want to change my car , so you make a loan and that £100 goes to the loan. You end up with nothing :) Unfortunately here in Cyprus is all about to impress people. We make large houses, buy expensive cars, wear the latest fashion in clothes in order to impress others. And we dont realise that life is too short and you will not get all those material things with you after you die. OOh , i hope I didnt sound too philosophical this beautiful Monday morning.

Good morning brother. Did you make halloumia ? I ask my mother about the recipe and she told me that is very difficult to make halloumia. You must watch someone "live" in order to make it. Its a matter of practise and skill.
