I agree.... Napa should really stay... nice to get outta real-life for a while every summer Don't know about the moral police or people talking about "quality" tourists.... but tourists in Napa definetely spend and the whole town is living offa the teens.... Cyprus' other resorts are perfect for families, Napa should stay for the lil'uns
Back there in a month !!! |

Get out yer napper at Ayia Napa!
The rest of Cyprus is for the old and sensible!
Napa is where the party is at, no doubt!
I heard that Ibiza is coming to an end within the next couple of years for dance music, and that Napa is going to be the new Ibiza.
Fingers crossed, that'd be brill!!

Yeah I have heard that as well, but there is another arguement saying that ibiza will never die. Reasons:
- Ibiza was orginally built for euro-trash to go and party, where as Napa started as a place where the brit forces could just go and chill.
- Ibiza and Napa have totally different music genres. Napa seems to be about bashment, rnb and 2 step. Whereas Ibiza is predominantly a techno hang out.
- Ibiza is popular for the "chemical generation", whereas Napa is more so about the music
- Virgin airlines, and other cheap carriers do not service Cyprus... thus making Napa a little more of an expensive holiday.
Either ways though, I agree with you Marinella, it would be awesome if Napa got bigger and better! |

Agia Nappa is the trashiest place I've been to in my life. ANd not the good kind of trashy you find in US college parties.
99% of the clubs play horrible music and 99% of the crowd at these places is DISGUSTING.
the only good thing about that place is the beach and the water park. other than that, thanks but no thanks id rather chill in larnaka. |

Agia Napa = of humanity... full of the lowest common denominator foreign trash and young Cypriots on limited-hour release from the army looking for a quick score...
Thank god with the new eastern highway you no longer have to drive through it to get to the nicer areas like Protoras and Paralimni... |

Now now I go Napa all the time and don't consider myself low trash
The music is awesome... but t'is true that the crowd can sometimes be a lil dodgy.... not all of'em though!
More mature individuals can head over to Protoras |

Well.....It's like they say...Courses for Horses....
I like Napa. yes it is tacky, yes there are dodgy people there, but all in all it is a good place to go to when you want to escape reality. |

I still think that Ayia Napa is great and if you need the people around you to help you have fun then maybe you have the problem!!
Thats the great thing about Cyprus you can enjoy Ayia Napa with its great beaches, Paphos with its more sophisticated clientele, Troodos with views and coolness etc etc etc what else could you ask for and all of these are a short drive away. |
