there are a small number and generaly they are very quiet I would say.
As to the weather normally it would be climbing to very hot and sunny with little or no rain but actualy today (where I am in Cyprus) we had unseaonal thinder lightning and lots of rain and generaly very cool. Should be back to normal by time you arrive though I guess. |

the greek cypriots, as does the int'l community, do not see a border. it is a "Green line" meaning you have foreign troops preventing the GCs in the south from returning to their homes in the north (Aside from visiting them). |

Hi Erolz
Forgive me if you are already aware of it but Ireland has already been split once, between the primarily Catholic Republic and the mainly Protestant North. Over time, many Catholics have moved to the South andffer many Protestants to the North.
Some of the differences with the Cyprus situation;
both speak (mainly) English
both are in the EU
both Governments speak to each other
To say the English are 99.9% to blame is er...rubbish.

I am aware that NI itself is a 'split' from Ireland. It just seems to me with my very limited knowledge that in NI there are still two 'camps' one of people who wish NI to reunite with RoI and another that wishes NI to remain part of the UK. So I was just wondering could a solution be found that allowed both these camps desires to be met through some sort of further split of NI - or am I just barking up the wrong tree entirely here? |

greeks want the border scraped so they can go home, but first of all the turks need to find somewhere to live. all people back to their own homes, or find new ones. but greeks have priority to their own land |
