Pyla Village Resort

Postby angel1976 » Fri Feb 20, 2009 2:30 pm

Hoping someone can help we have just booked an apartment at Plya Village Resort for a week, we normally stop just off the Dehkelia Road near the opticians but needed somewhere bigger. Just wondered if someone can let me have info as to how far the village resort is by car from the area we normally stay. Also what the pubs/restaurants are like, price wise etc. in Pyla. Thanks

Hi there, the distance from the dhekelia Road is a couple of km, Pyla itself is a mixed village of Greek and Turkish Cypriot residents and has not gone through the usual updating, the village is policed by the UN. There is only one place that I would suggest you can eat and drink in and thats the Pyla Tavern.
Are you sure that the resort you are asking about is actually in Pyla or is it on the Pyla part of Dhekalia road, as I have not noticed it in Pyla.

Thanks we have been coming to cyprus for the last 7 years and always stopped in this area we love it, and like been in the little villages rather than the tourist areas, not too sure of the exact location of the Pyla Village Resort we are still waiting for paperwork to come through. I know the bit you mean off dehkelia road.
