I am planning to move to Cyprus at the end of July. I have a friend who lives in Limassol and she assures me that i will find work very easily once i arrive. However, i don't really want to take that risk and end up using all my savings.
Does any one know any good job agancies / internet sites that i could search through. I have tried to look, but not having a huge amount of success.
My choice of work would be as a TEFL teacher (I have my TEFL certificate)or something in tourism (have experience in tourism and managing a tour company in the Middle East).
Any help or information will be gratefully received.
Thank you |

Hi Rose,
If you are an EU citizen take a look at
http://europa.eu.int/eures
Quite a few jobs on there from time to time including teaching.
If you are not an EU citizen have look anyway as salaries are shown and at least you will have an idea of pay rates in Cyprus.
Good Luck |

Thank you both so much for your replies.
I would be staying in Limassol - at least at first.
TEFL is Teaching English as a Foreign Language. |

Best think to do is to get your friend to send you the two English speaking newspapers “Cyprus Weekly and “Mail on Sunday or Sunday Mail” whatever is called.
Then open them and see what is going on. Send a few emails arrange interviews and when you come here you can start strait away.
I personally wish you good luck. |
