There seems to be some confusion.

The mosque in Kophinou is for development into villas and housing using or not using the current structure.

The mosque in Larnaca is only for commercial exploitation.

Thanks,

Apologies, for my disrepectful GC colleague, he is clearly an ibecile.
If we bulldoze this you might as well be bulldozing Apostolos Andreas in the North.

However, in the mean time there's nothing wrong with spreading the wealth among TC's and GC's property under the provision of the Annan plan.

I would be amazed if the Hala Sultan Tekke was being leased for commercial exploitation, firstly because it would be sacrilege for a mosque to be used for commercial purposes (as far as my limited knowledge of Islam stretches). Given that it's also a world heritage site, it should be the responsibility of the government, not a commercial vendor to safeguard the site.

As for living in a mosque, if one was sold legitimately, why not? They tend to be beautiful structures (just like converted churches) and are certainly built to stand the test of time... I can't think of a better place to buy and convert into living accommodation.

As for demetriou's 'knock them down' remark... get a brain boy... if someone said that about a church you'd no doubt throw your arms up in anger... learn to see things from the other point of view for once in your life.

Okay the gigs up, i must apologise, none of the mosques are for sale, neither do i own them, there under the ROC supervision on behalf of the TC's.

I just wanted to provoke a bizzare reaction in a comical light in a way that some TC's developers are doing something similiar in the north with GC property.

However, should anyone want to purchase any mosques in the south, drop me a line as i'm sure i can wine and dine some influential people some local delacasy and schmooze something for you. TC's welcome to apply, just make sure you have a ROC passport and I'll take care of the rest. No problem my friends!

I propose the following, I do good cash price ah?: :D
