LOL! How odd! When I'm in Cyprus they still all have their traditional ways -- slightly sexist, men work women cook, they all have children and get married and maybe a few offspings here and there from foreigners (perfect example = MOI!) but it's hard for me to imagine a Cypriot marrying and having children with a Chinese, Indian or Arab!
LOL how the world changes |
Hi Leon,
"Men work women cook" God I do everything you've written by myself, and more may I add!! I work full time, have two kids, cook, clean and try to make time to go out and enjoy myself!!! |

[quote}This is a bit-off-topic so forgive me but don't you think a CYPRIOT having a child with an ARAB is very strange
I don't think this is strange at all LEON! I am Egyptian and half Brazilian and my partner is Lebanese/Cypriot. I think you are very closed minded and ignorant. You should understand all the different race mixing considering that you live in ENGLAND or werever |

heyyyyyy....ok, i know im not cypriot but hey i signed up coz i wanted to find out about Sarbel, and this website convo thingy came up. U guys interested me in sayin that its weird for arabs to marry cypriots. I dont think it is!?! Im Assyrian, but we are sooo similar to arabs but also cypriots, italians, spanish etc. But I dont think its ever weird to marry into another culture. I think cultures and religion do play a big part in relationships but LOVE is still LOVE. Just because someone is arabic or from an arab country like me, dont make ya a muslim either ( nothing wrong with them, but hate people that judge! lol, sorry guys just feel very strongly about subjects like this!
Take care x |

We all came from Adam and Eve... we are all children of God... whether you want to except it or not...
I know exactly what some of the Greek Cypriots are saying... it is weird to have half greek Cypriot and half arabic... But it is very true that its commonly cause most of the arabs they marry are chrsitians... so i guess its ok cause they are both following the same relgious beliefs...
but if u wanna trip out.... IM half Greek Cypriot Half Turkish...
My father is muslim and Mother is Greek orthadox and they fell in love in school in australia...
NOW THATS WEIRD!!!
but i cant complian... i am who i am... and thats it... Back to Topic...
And Sarbel... Man what a version.... and i love the film clip... his walking with his mates down the street....what a gun... top stuff there.. and the chick... such a push up bra... hehehe
Im glad he sang the song half greek and half arabic... cause it shows respect for the orginal singer of Sidi mansour (Ya baba)... Sarbel version...Great Version good on him hehe
There is a Turkish version too..... "Ibrahim Tatlises - Mavisim", "Rober Hatemo - Doktur Doktur", I still Like Sarbel version best eheheh...
of coarse the songs have similiar beats.. but the words all have different meanings.. |
