....well, you get the picture.

 No they don't, because they're not due till August and evening temperatures and humidity are a lot different then.

Although very warm at night it gets dark early, so take a torch.

The longest daylight is in the summer… until 8:00..8.30pm!

We had a tourist arrive 10 days ago in Pafos; on the first evening he walked across the road to a taverna and fell into a 5m sewage trench on the way back and was killed.

Of all places one idiot went straight for a trench dug up by the council and you're advising tourists now to bring a torch?

Look GR, you live in a smelting bowl, so what do you know about living by the sea? OK, I will upgrade my forecast. I guarantee it will be precisely 37C every day ;-)

As far as daylight is concerned, getting dark at 8.30 is not what someone living in the UK will expect.

As for the tourist who fell into a sewer trench (the Police ar looking into it; the case not the trench!). Apparently, the fence was 50% below that regulated by the EU and two senior Contractors were arrested last week.

One of my favourite 'traditional tavernas is the Farmyard in Kathikas; take the road from Latsi to Peyia and take the left fork into the village of Kathikas, it is on the left. About a 30 minute drive along a scenic route.

Petradaki taverna which is about 200 metres before the Farmyard on the right hand side is IMHO very good.
