People, what do you think about this year's Eurovision?
Do you think that Sakis should have won the contest or the wild dance of the Ukrainian Ruslana was the best? Actually Ruslana was really impressive, so active, almost on fire, she got everybody's attention. Sakis was also nice, but I think he lacked that wildness of the girl in furs, she was really original ! although his dance was very artistic, especially when he removed his clothes and clothes on the dancing girls
And that young Cypriot-British girl was so touching, she really deserved to be among the first |

| I don't know, this might be just me, but most of the songs sucked. Sakis was OK but the song was not that impressive, especially the lyrics. The Cypriot girl definetely has a good voice but her song was too slow and depressing. The Turkish group was unique but again nothing exceptional. I haven't watched the show, I just listened the songs on the internet so I can't comment about the stage performance. |

Ukrainian song was the best. Both the song and the performance. Greece and Serbia deserved to be in the first 3 places also.
Turkey's song was quite OK, and it deserved to be in the top five. Our song was not the kind of songs that I like, but North Western Europeans like such songs and it was an OK song for that type so the 5th place was also fair.
Some songs got higher that what they should have because of their neighborers giving too many points to them. E.g. The Russian song got 10s and 8s from five former USSR countries and it got a place way higher than the one it deserved. |

Yes, i agree that Russian girl was one of the worst-performing this time, she could hardly dance! they were moving her as if she was a piece of wood ! Such brilliant performance definitely deserves not more than 1 point!
About assigning points: everybody knows that Eurovision is a political show so Cyprus gets points from Greece, Greece from Cyprus, Russia from ex-soviet republics and so on... nothing new |

My favourite songs were: Croatia , Turkey , Cyprus ,Ukraine , Serbia , Belgium !
It was a good show overall but I did not expect Belgium to reach that low! |

I think the best song was the one of Cyprus'. And I voted for it From Turkey...
I think the best thing of this contest was that Cyprus , for the first time, got point from Turkey. And i'm proud of that. Because it is the music which can end hatred.
I congratulate the Greek Cypriots for their success and hope it will be a Turk the next time appearing on the screen as the singer of United Cyprus Republic. |

I hope it will be a duo, one Greek Cypriot and one Turkish Cypriot. Maybe a Maronite Cypriot on the drums!
In all honesty, I thought Turkey's was OK, I really liked Cyprus's entry this year, but I couldn't stand Sakis. OK, so he wasn't as bad as the "Say, say the matzik word, sagabaaaoh S A G A B O" robot song, but it was quite embarasssing. Did you see him fall over at Athina? Hah!
For the record I think Sertab Erener is great, and I even mark the genre of her songs as "Türkçe" (that means Turkish right?), like I mark my Greek songs "Greek", so it's nothing against Turkey, I just didn't think this years song was a great example of ska.
I must say, Turkey handled the constest very well, and even called us "Cyprus"! Cyprus and Turkey awarding each other points can only be a good thing. |

| If we manage in the future to send a GC and TC singer on a stage singing a mix Turkish Greek music , it will definitely be a great success. |
