Paphitis , you have my respect mate .

Why, because you want his money? Laughing

No , because in spite of all our " differences" on the political scene , unlike you , he has recognised that charity has no political connections and has made a very generous contribution to the fund.
The money that I entice from forumers does not end up in my pocket mate , you have insinuated that this is the case before so dont please try and annoy me , you know what happens when I get angry !!!

Yeah, you hit the bottle... Laughing

So why should somebody send money to Miltiades and not directly to this or any other similar institution? Confused Those who want to give money can easily do it by themselves without bragging about how big philanthropists they are because they gave 50 or 100 Euro!!

I hope that you have made a direct donation to the Home , being your preferred method as you state above.
Good old Sotos , anonymously without " bragging "about it . you have my respect !

Re Sotos. Sometimes things are better and worth more when we do them collectively, when we act as one. We're a Forum whose members love and respect eachother very much. We may have our minor differences occasionally and it helps us to bond with our fellow forumers when we act together, tissies, grissies, armens, pushtorossous, ex-pats etc.

Milti, without mentioning names, how are we doing? What's the total?

The grand total raised so far amounts to £ 802 ie EUROS @1.15 =922
Not bad for a very little effort.
May I also add that a T/C in the UK has pledged a donation , no specified amount mentioned , so the fund will surely exceed 1000 euros.
