What in the name of the all-holy vraga is this doing in a 'Greatest Greek songs ever' thread?
There's nothing like insulting the auditory canals, to bring a recluse out of hiding ...
I think we have already established the vragga - or should I say vrakka? - is Greek in origin; and if I am not mistaken, that song is in the Greek dialect ... But not wishing to frighten you back into your cave, do please post something more appropriate ...

We? When? I explained to you the entymology of 'vraga' and you ignored it. Like you ignore all my efforts to try and educate you about Cyprus's distinct culture.

A language is a dialect with an army and navy. Try 'Cypriot' for once. You won't be disappointed.

What is the point of arguing endlessly with you and others who wish to give away Cypriot culture to Greece?

It's my prerogative to ignore it ... it was iffy!

I may not be giving anything away ... you do not seem to understand the Synergistic effect of our alliance!
Move over to PM ... this is too limiting! ... I am not prepared to lose you again over etymology!

Anything that puts the adjective 'Greek' in its proper place is iffy to you, O.

Explain it to me, O, because I don't understand.
And, in the words of a certain hero of mine, talking to his tempestuous friend who wants a game of tavli, before leaving him to chase the woman he loves. 'I'm through playing games.'

You are not through until every last Turk has left Cyprus, and in that I know we are united!
You just don't accept that you do not have to sell out your inheritance (Hellenic/Greek) in order to have it all ... a whole united EU-Cyprus; where ethnicities are secondary, personal objectives, but Cypriot Citizenship unites us all!

My inheritance is much more than just "Hellenic/Greek".
And I don't accept selling any of it out. Especially not the famous Cypriot vraga or its famous song... Other than that, I'm in agreement.

Agree ... that is why I insist in synergy between Greeks and Cypriots!

The poor old pair of breeches, they swept the lower reaches...
That was rather truncated ... I hope you can finish what you start!

Cypriots don't need to get to Brussels or Strasbourg or Luxembourg via Athens any more. Sinerghasia is needed with all our European partners, including the UK, as well as Greece.
