Private beaches in Cyprus

Postby Raymanoff » Sun Jul 12, 2009 12:36 am

here you go

http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=34.5 ... 9&t=h&z=18

I arrived today at Ladies mile Oceania Bach and found no parking place... no kiddin. We had to drive couple of hundered meters away from it to unpack our windsurfing gear... anyway, to make long story short, due to a favorable wind direction we sailed easily right to the cape Gata. When we arrived we could beleive how beautiful beaches are there... turquoise water, golden sandy beaches, and 1 brit casually fishing with no one else in his vicinity (apart from us).

You see where i am getting at? The usual stuff... no need to repeat it.

Private beaches are not allowed in Cyprus, all beaches are public.

That used to be called Buttons bay, or Buttons beach when I was at Akrotiri (1974-75)

:? How did you know the person fishing was a Brit Raymanoff? Other nationalities work on the bases - including many Cypriots!
