A sad statistic

Postby cannedmoose » Sat Jun 25, 2005 8:19 pm

Of 1575 current members, 959 have never posted on this forum. They are therefore either all lurking, or registered and then quickly forgot about it. Should admin:

1. Email them all encouraging participation
2. Email them all to warn that their accounts will be deleted in 28 days if they do not participate.
3. Delete all of their accounts from the list
4. Do nothing

I sense admin will hope that we opt for the fourth choice...

How about this other option:
Email them all asking them whether they would like to delete their account or not.

By the way i think the Forum needs to be advertised more in Cypriot Websites.I've only seen it one time being advertised somewhere.

Well it all depends on what the Admin's plan for advertising is and what the budget is.But any GC or TC highly visited websites would be a good start.
Also the CTO might be a good place cause many tips are given in the forum to tourists.

Ok, but couldn't we try to find a solution for people who register to post one or two topics for help then go? A chat room would be a good idea for example and advertising would just bring more members for the forum but may be 60% of them would not post a topic or just post one or two to ask help for something!
