I agree with micada actually, we get lots of posts on here from people looking to purchase property and wondering about legal issues, procedures etc. It would be useful to have them all in one place for people to post and for those arriving later to more easily find such information.

Thank you Cannedmoose! There is a forum for Bulgaria and the interest has been so great that there are different sections for tax queries, real estate agents, purchasing, selling, letting, etc. I just think it would be helpful to have something similar for Cyprus.

I think the Admin will not approve this because a significant amount of property purchase questions will involve purchases from the north which the Admin assumes to be illegal. But I think a "Moving to Cyprus" section might be less provocative and it can involve property purchase issues as well.

Moving to the north isn't illegal per se, just moving onto land owned by GCs. Therefore, admin should specify that any discussion of land transactions of GC-titled property will not be permitted.
