Quit the ridiculous questions re, they're a bit tiresome... Good luck with the bar Jax... I'm hoping to spend possibly a couple of months in Famagusta early next year so I'll pop in and have a look if I do.

sorry moose but from what i seen in cyprus the owners generally dont care. last year in limassol some guy who was on god knows what pulled a knife on my mate in the toilets so sorry. anywhere where that happens and its 'allowed' i am staying well clear.

Well, if that's the case it's about time they cared. My brother-in-law was wiped off the road last week by someone totally off their face on dope who crashed into the back of him on the Larnaca/Lefkosia m/way. Apparently the guy was doing close to 200km/h and took the back axle off my b-in-law's car (thankfully no-one was in the back). He was then on such a high, that somehow he managed to drive off. Thankfully, my b-in-law managed to get his registration so the malaka was caught and awaiting court.

Drugs seem to be a big issue in Cyprus now, for the love of god I can't see why, having tried a few in my time I can see no bonus to them whatsoever... most of them just ended up putting me to sleep.

My suggestion for a drug alternative is to get the DVD of 'Apocalypse Now' and watch it from start to finish... has the same effect.

Is it raining anywhere else... it's torrential here, literally can't see across the street
