The group will finish:

Chelsea
Athletico Madrid
Porto
APOEL

:(

But I fancy that APOEL may cause 1 or 2 upsets at home.

2 consecutave years, 2 different teams
Simply amazing.
I'm not too big on football, but in this case I'll support any CY team that qualifies.

But anyway, if that’s the correct draw then APOEL can only expect 6 loses after seeing their dreadful second half performance against such a mediocre team.

If APOEL is to make Cyprus proud like Anorthosis did, they’re going to have to learn to play football for 90 minutes not 20!

EN o Nous sou tjai EKSIKOLISE!

To the spokesperson of Anorthosis it looked like Kopenhagen was a couple of steps above Olympiakos and not a mediocre team. The first half performance was never before repeated by any other team in Cyprus. The 2nd half was consolidation and holding back against a far superior team after we SHOCKED AND AWED them in the first half. Scoring 3 goals against Kopenhagen in one half is no easy objective.

Olympiakos fans on their forum were saying they'll take anyone from the 4th group apart from APOEL cause they admitted APOEL would probably beat them.

Be happy that a Cypriot team has made it into the groups after defeating teams that are 10 times bigger than APOEL (Partizan Belgrade and Kopenhagen).

As for the groups I will rub this post so hard into your kotchinohorkatis face that you'll think your new eyes are a 17 inch monitor.

Oh and before you make statements such as this

If APOEL is to make Cyprus proud like Anorthosis did,

I suggest you learn 2-3 things about football. When anorthosis was getting own goals and scoring with the back of defenders necks that wasn't good performances but a large dose of luck in games that should have been landslides against them.

O GR pou an tou deiksis mian mappa aksipa en na thn pari yia patiha tjai na katsei na thn faei

Oh and don't worry our CHairman won't make off with the money and make us all proud like Anorthosis did when the news hit Reuters.

I really don’t feel that Wednesday’s APOEL had the discipline of the 2008 Anorthosis squad, and not to mention that (unfortunately) APOEL have a MUCH tougher group to face than what Anorthosis did last year.

APOEL was absolute crap in the second half and had their opponent been any of the likes of Chelsea, Real, or Porto, they would’ve been murdered, but luckily for them Kopenhagen were hopeless at finishing.

Chelsea and Madrid, will RAPE APOEL if they don’t get their act together for the ENTIRE 90 minutes when they meet. Playing spectacular football for the first 20 minutes and then sitting on their laurels is NOT going to work against the likes of Chelsea and Madrid!

Don’t get me wrong, I do support the Cypriot team DT, but I was very disappointed that they just gave up in the second half thinking they had a decent cushion of ONE goal  and came so close so many times to losing the bloody game!
