So...no inheritance tax. Nice if you can get domiciled in Cyprus. It is true that you pay 20% CGT though on any gain over £10,000?

Hi Mick

CGT is 20%. You are allowed a one off Personal allowance of £10,000 (£20,000registered in two names). This is Index Linked. There is a maximum allowance for RESIDENTS of £50,000 after five years. You may alsot set against CGT anything spent to improve the property, providing you have receipts and Estae Agent's commission - but only if they are registered and licensed Estae Agents.
