As portuguese i can say that was a suprise for Europe.. last year and this year cipriots teams in Champions league...
Im supporting APOEL... but tomorrow Porto will win... for sure...
Ill be in the stadium with a Cipriot Flag.. and a Benfica scarf (this last one was just a joke.. :p)
I saw the game between Partizan and APOEL in the Stadium (Nicosia) and i never saw crazy fans like cipriots fans...
Long life to the Cipriot Football... and... to Omonia... yes... im Omonia fan... if not... my girlfriend Fathers will kill me |

Can APOEL steal a point or three, from Porto?
My prediction… Porto 1 – 2 APOEL |

I have often wondered how many TC's support RoC football teams or even the National team of the RoC?
I am aware that even some GC's will not support APOEL, but then that is natural.
C'mon APOEL. Do your best.
As long as they dont play the Gunners ofcourse. |

I very much doubt it!
A few years ago there was an attempt to bring a couple of TC players over to play for a GC team (can't remember details now) but the TC football association spat the dummy and blackmailed them from coming for a trial. Had they come and been successful, they would’ve had great careers now earning more money than they ever dreamed but it was not to be…
This of course would’ve also opened the door for TC players to play in the national team which would’ve boosted the interest and support among the TC population.

I think there’s a chance that Arsenal will confront APOEL in later stages, if APOEL make it through. |

When Anorthosis played Transospor(?) a couple of years ago, there were TC fans at GSP supporting the Turkish Team...
Unfortunately, most TCs would not support any GC team, or the national side. |

Pushing your luck there Paphitis.
I am sure you meant Trebizond Spor / Trabzonspor.
