If true, I doubt that many of the restaurant/cafe owners are ex-soldiers. So, as you are talking about past events, are you saying that, post-solution, the history of the TRNC will still be a reason for you to shun the people and the place?

Where would the good people of the Free Areas spend money anyway...

Dodgy casinos run by mafia.

Money Laundering Clubs

Seedy Caberets employing trafficked sex workers

Entrance fees to "museums" of Stolen Icons

Stays in Stolen Hotels

Eating and Drinking in Stolen Businesses

Buying their own Stolen Property

Rip- Of Car Insurance

etc .. etc .... etc ....

.. oh, and when they do wish to cross in their hundreds to go on village pilgrimages to the old churches, tnucland prevents it as the Morphou Pilgtimage showed a few months ago.

VP,all things considered the facts are facts.. A vast majority of the north is stolen Greek cyp lands....what you produce on these lands is considered stolen...no matter how hard you try you can never justify ethnic cleansing executions murders and rapes...The illegal occupation of north Cyprus can never be legitimized, your crony Denktash kept you isolated behind the Green line and you know it, between the years 74- 2003 the occuppied areas were an isolated police state, now these areas are just a police state.....

The figures speak for themselves, when you consider the population ratios and spending power.

It only shows that TC's and EU citizens in the North like to go shopping in the South.
If you want to talk about re-integration, it's a shame when I read about GCs who boast they refuse to visit the North or do visit but take their own food and water to deprive the TCs of a couple of lousy Euros of trade.

and what about all the things that are denied to rightful owners of properties you wally. Here we go again some unethical British/ German/ Irish worm living off other peoples misfortunes making comments.

Yeni Düzen estimates that 10,000 Turkish Cypriots crossed over to the south on Saturday (28 November), the second day of the Bayram [religious festival].

I think these TCs are tired of eating lamb again for this Bayram, so they have gone to the south to have some pork for a change with the GCs.!

Or is it that they are "porking" with the GCs in the south.? Laughing Laughing

Reh Yero, judging by your avatar, please avoid Cyprus during Kurban Bayram FFS otherwise how will we be entertained?
Laughing Laughing

Isn't it with these how you always entertained yourself, Küçük.! Laughing Laughing Laughing

You must be colour blind, Küçük, because I'm the "Black Sheep" remember and there are no black sheep in the picture.! Besides, I didn't know you were a AC/DC or as we use a baseball lingo, "a switch hitter".! Shocked Shocked Surprised Surprised Laughing Laughing

Sorry to disappoint you that I'm not one of them, Küçük, but you still have 4 "tails" to choose from! Razz Razz

Go ahead, take them all. Why limit your fun to with just one, eh.! Laughing Laughing

Never say never wyoming it may just sneek up and bite you one day...as for the TRNC being stolen well hello you have stolen 67% of the island and recogniton milking it for all its worth. Time you wised up and understood that all your slagging off the north is water of a ducks back to TCs because we would "endure" conditions a thousand times worse than capitulate to becoming a minority in a Gc state run by the "majority" namely the GCs, we are here for long haul.

.........we have made many mistakes as well but under the GC imposed isolation how else could have things developed?

I'm beginning to wonder if it is a Turkish-imposed isolation. If TCs wanted to reunify and reintegrate would their masters let them?

The TCs that wanted to reunify and reintegrate bcz of various reasons or their self-interests have already done what they wanted and been living in South. Noone stopped them. Those who still have been liveing in North used to wish a solution based on BBF as it was envisaged in Annan Plan. Lately, most of the TCs who used to wish reunification of Cyprus don't want it anymore... what they wanted is 2 completely seperate, sovereign states... not even a confederation they want...

Are numbers of TCs currently living in the south available?

The day you realize that those lands belong to Greek cyps and that they will continually fight to get them back then you will allowed rights up to that point your people are in violation of UN charters in violation of the european courts of human rights....and in violation of human rights for every Greek cyp refugee that was ethnically cleansed from the occuppied terretories....obviously we aint going away any time soon, we are rich smart and powerful enough to extinguish you and your pseudo state

And stupid enough to believe what you say....do your worst we will be waiting...if you want to return the refugees land you lost then you have to negotiate for it.
