You check our id cards and make us wait....

I can't help picking you up on that claim. I happened to cross from the north to the south yesterday afternoon at the Ledra Street crossing in Nicosia. I walked over right behind a Turkish Cypriot. At the southern end, all he did was hand his TRNC ID card to the very personable young policewoman sitting in the prefab cabin. She speedily entered the number into the computer and then handed the ID card back. The whole process must have taken about twenty seconds, and then he was on his way.

It only shows that TC's and EU citizens in the North like to go shopping in the South.
If you want to talk about re-integration, it's a shame when I read about GCs who boast they refuse to visit the North or do visit but take their own food and water to deprive the TCs of a couple of lousy Euros of trade.

and what about all the things that are denied to rightful owners of properties you wally. Here we go again some unethical British/ German/ Irish worm living off other peoples misfortunes making comments.

Do you enjoy going off on a tangent or is it that you don't have something pertinent to add? Your misfortune was of your making, not mine.

I agree, but think for a moment, how much consideration do you think christofias and talat are putting into your sorry arse? If there is a solution there is only one group of people that is guaranteed to be well and truly fucked. You and your fellow carpetbaggers.

Well, I'm sure that Christofias couldn't give a shite but I know that Talat sees ex-pats and the houses that they might buy as a great source of income in the future. I'm also sure that he wouldn't want to be seen as not caring about ex-pats.
Apart from which, what "solution" are you talking about? Question

Enough of the 'grand-dad' shite DT. Just ask him to engage his brain before he posts anything.

After a settlement the north will have no need for Carpetbaggers anyway.

It looks like some of the carpetbaggers realise that they have been mugged by the "trnc"

http://www.cyprus44.com/forums/27396.asp

They don't realise that, along with the mainland colonisers, they have been used by Turkey to change the demography of the north. Some of them actually want Turkey to annexe the "trnc", they are too blind and selfish to see that annexation would result in many TCs using their GC passports to move to the EU whilst they are still valid. It would also mean that the crossings would close, the north would lose EU payments, standards of living would equate with those on the mainland and Turkey would never join the EU.

Selfish, opportunist, thieving, ignorant bastards!
