Yes can we please draw a line under this.
Pete - moderating a forum is a diifcult time consuming and thankless task. The admin may or may not have been right in the actions he took, but no action by a moderator will ever be considered right by all, it involves judgement calls and sometimes these will be wrong.
Please lieve me when I say the actions of the admin and mods are intended to try and make the forums better. We will not laways get it right but we are not on some kind of power trip here (as far as I know). We are just doing our best it what are sometimes difficult circumstances.
I know how frustrating it can be when you feel that you have been treated unfairly and I sympathise with you in this regard. However continuing to 'argue your case' and demanding appologies from the admin is not going make us suddenly infallible. The admin made a judgement call. It may not have been correct and may have involved misunderstandings - but I am sure it was not done with any malice (if I may be as bld to speak for the admin)

I wouldnt waste my time with the Admin. He banned me without giving me a chance to explain to him that he was wrong to interprate my comment in the way that he did. |

Can I just state that I am sincere when I say that Mr Admin is the best forum administrator I have had the pleasure to be banned by and anybody who has anything negative to say about him (OR her) should really go away and think about the services and relief from boredom, that Mr Admin has brought to their lives.

Anyway you are back now and have made your views clear on the whole episode, so can we just move on now? |

SERIOUSLY THOUGH (yes, seriously) can I just put into context the way I was supposed to disrespected Petes family.
WELL...someone made a post that they were looking for a girl to have a relationship with.
subsequently, PETE...being the fantastic comedian with witty and original one liners replied "Ask Main Source, he may be able to help you" or something along those lines...I cant remember, I was laughing too much.
ANYWAY...AFTER the bellyaches and calmed down, I responded to Pete's post to which I gave a throw away comment, telling the guy who was asking for a girl to ignore this advice, because I stopped pimpin Pete's FAMILY a long time ago (by the way, even though Pete claims to know my dad through the Cypriot Football League from a long time ago, I do not know HIM or his family and the remark was therefor not THAT personal.....but I pissed HIM OFF huh  ).
Moral of the story being...dont try and act smart...because it might just come back in your face a little harder. |

Other people make remarks about you and you respond in a similer vein. I agree with you. Dont dish out what you cant take. By why in my case did you have to stoop to insulting my family, regardless if you know them or not?
Do you insult other peoples families on this forum?
Have a good think about the last sentence in your statement.  |
