The likelihood of you first finding a job depends on your skills. If you have no specialist skills then there is little chance that you will find anything. Secondly, unless you have an EU passport, your chances are even smaller because Cypriot employers now have to prove that they are unable to hire either a Cypriot or an EU citizen first. Therefore, unless you're a brain surgeon or have skills that are very high-in-demand, I think you have little chance of making it to Cyprus.

Jobs aren't just given away, you have to earn them, or you have to know people to get them. Although having been to Nigeria, I can fully appreciate why you wish to leave.

Basically, a year ago Despatches on Ch4 unveiled an organised scam by Nigerians doing temp work within Royal Mail, in which they would steal credit cards, etc and make thousands of pounds. It was quite a bg story and made many newspapers...surprised Moose of all people has no idea what I was talking about.

As for being offensive...well Pete, if you shut up and stop following me around this website...I might get a few of my Nigerian friends to tell you how we joked about it.
