Dear Sir/Madam,
I really want some information. I wish some of you could help me.
1> How do you think of Cypoly? Is that porpular? Is that good to study?
2> How much is it for the living expense for a foreign student in average?
3> Do the foreign student usually have the permission to work part-time?
4> If so, what's the average salary?
5> Does Cyprus welcome foreigner? or Is it difficult for the visa?
If you know something, please let me know..

1>I know it, but it is not very popular. I don't know how good it is. Most popular colleges here are Cyprus College, Intercollege and Frederic.
2>It depends on the city. In Larnaca it should be around 100-150 CY pounds per month for rent (you can share this with a roommate), and about 6-7 pounds per day for food and such (but this depends a lot on your life style)
3>no. if you work its illegal (but many do it anyways)
4>For untrained young worker about 300 Cy pounds per month.
5>Student visa is not very hard. Your college should arrange for it. But the authorities check if you actually go to college. Other kind of visas except student and tourist ones are not easy to get. |
