Hello All:
How do you find property for sale in NC that does or did not belong to Greeks before the war? I found some properties on line but it does not give a history of the ownership deeds.

| Maybe the Land Registry department in the ROC could give you a general outline of what belongs to who as a guide. |

Any decent estage agent will be able to tell you what kind of deed the property has. Property that was owned by TC pre 74 is about 30% - 40%more expensive that previous GC owned land. Property that was foreign owned is more expensive again because you do not have to go through the process of aquiring permission from council of minister to buy it - which is required for other classes of property. |

My understanding is that the Land Registry in the North no longer reveals which type of Title Deed any plot has, as a matter of policy.

The Land Registry in the free areas can provice this information to you.
You will have a difficult tme as at law Turks only own 8% of the Occupied areas. |

We would like to inform you that most of the plots in north cyprus is belong to cypriot people anyway you can look prices on www.karayiannas.com.cy. |
