We go in then it's ok, if we don't too bad! Every country who is a candidate for EU membership is supposed to be treated equally, I can't see that happening at the moment!! |
Shame on EU:
The EU really is breaking my balls.
During the cold war, Turkey was the buffer zone that protected free Europe from Soviet domination. Now that the cold war is over we (Turks) as always, turn the other cheek while former communist countries join the European Union. Let's face it. The EU is christian club which will always come up with excuses why Turkey cannot join the union. EU...Kiss my Turkish bottom.. If it wasn't for the US and Turkey all you peoplewould be speaking either German or Russian. |

Exactly, the Germans are pandering to you, and the Austrians, The French and the rest of Europe aren't having it.
Sorry, come back when you understand the word 'civilization' and 'minority rights'. |

Dear Che wanna-be radical pinko liberal,
Turkey may not have participated in WW2 but we bravely contributed in the Korean War against communism. Go read up on it! The Turkish Brigade. Second largest contingency after the US and kept the 9th US Army from being completely encircled and destroyed. Where the hell do you come up with the idea that Turkey was Germany's ally in WW2? Winston Churchill was kissing Ismet Inonu's arse hoping to get Turkey into the war against the Germans until the very last days. WW1 yes.
As far as communism is concerned this was a cold war. So a war. |

Didn't Turkey give secret areas on which to test and train new German Weaponry? |
