thanks for these phrases but i would like to spend the entire holiday in cyprus as a free man if i was to use some of those i would either be locked up or deported lol so they do actually swear in cyprus then lol pmsl |

Sorry, wasn't very helpful of me.
I don't speak the lingo here, but I'm sure one of the other forum members will help you out.........most Cypriots speak really good English so it's not a worry.
I do admire you for learning phrases before you come, good on you! Wish I had made the effort, feel guilty being here and expecting everybody to speak to me in English.
Whats stopping you from learning Greek?

me learn greek i struggle with the english god knows what i be like with greek i mean all the ltters of the alphabet are all geometricl shapes and dashes to me but if i enjoy my stay i will be back again inclusive of the greek language  |

The alphabet isn't so hard once you know what all the letters sound like. And in Cyprus, the vast majority of signs are in both english and greek. |
