thanks for these phrases but i would like to spend the entire holiday in cyprus as a free man if i was to use some of those i would either be locked up or deported lol so they do actually swear in cyprus then lol Laughing Laughing Laughing pmsl

Sorry, wasn't very helpful of me.

I don't speak the lingo here, but I'm sure one of the other forum members will help you out.........most Cypriots speak really good English so it's not a worry.

I do admire you for learning phrases before you come, good on you! Wish I had made the effort, feel guilty being here and expecting everybody to speak to me in English.

Whats stopping you from learning Greek?

me learn greek i struggle with the english god knows what i be like with greek i mean all the ltters of the alphabet are all geometricl shapes and dashes to me but if i enjoy my stay i will be back again inclusive of the greek language Cool Shocked

The alphabet isn't so hard once you know what all the letters sound like. And in Cyprus, the vast majority of signs are in both english and greek.
