Postby BigDutch » Thu Feb 04, 2010 10:43 am

Following 12 months of real world user reviews on the many, many eateries and restaurants in the Paphos region of Cyprus, www.paphos-eating.com has compiled THE conclusive 'hot list' of where to eat out for 2010. All of the restaurants and eateries here are selected purely from user ratings submitted to Paphos-Eating website during the calender year 2009.

Categories include Best Fine Dining, Best Budget, Best Food, Best Value, Best Taverna etc

All winners listed here : http://www.paphos-eating.com/content/view/496/66/

Don't agree with the awards given ? Then make it right for the 2010 awards by submitting your own comments for the eateries you try during 2010 ! Remember these are based on user response so if you don't submit anything your opinion isn't factored in !

What about an award for the cheapest eating utensils, and cheapest and tackiest Chinese kitchen pots and pans?

I nominate Miltiades for that award. He is from Paphos as well, so I believe he meets the criteria.

I don't agree its only for tourists as 40% of the sites traffic is from within Cyprus, considering the local population vs the millions of oversees visitors its not surprising that most site traffic is from abroad. In terms of contributions most of these are generated by people that live locally Cyprus, i don't ask for nationality during the submission process as i try to not further promote the deep lying xenophobia .....

Anyone one from anywhere is welcome to contribute to Paphos-Eating and share their experiences on eating out in the region. 100% year-on-year-on-year visitor growth tells me that many many people are using the site on a regular basis.

If you prefer to sit and poke holes in the platform rather than get up on it and say something then yours is one opinion that the site misses ...

What makes the website 'a expat hole' ?

Well there isn't any eating out section so it was either 'Entertainment' or 'Tourism' ..... the content remains the same :)

Big Dutch - my response was directed at frogeye's comment and was intended as being supportive of both your posting and your site (which I read regularly).
