Correction - the 'illegally occupied' areas

And you can call it whatever name you want it still won't be recognised

From a personal point of view I prefer the word fostered rather than adopted. Fostered is just looking after something temporarily whereas adopted gives it an air of being officially transfered to another person

In many posts I have referred to the de-facto political entity existing in the north of the island as the TRNC, and these posts have never been deleted.

In reality, 'TRNC' is the de facto name for the occupied areas for many people - at least we all understand what is meant by the term.

At times we get a bit carried away with principles; it is merely a nickname, in my view and there are far bigger issues to concern ourselves with.
