| The game will take place normally next Tuesday 26th of July. Tickets will be also availabe for the Turkish team supporters (1200 tickets) while huge measures are taken by the police to ensure the safety of the game. Many Turkish supporters have allready made applications through the Cyprus Embassy in Athens to come to see the game. UEFA officials will be also visiting the island to make sure that the necessary precautions are taken. Anorthosis president also encouraged Anorthosis funs to support their team in Constantinouple. |
Yiannis, with all respect, why dont' you call it Istanbul not to provacate anyone?
|
Detailer, you will never get a Greek to refer to our Capitol as 'Istanbul', I am sorry if you are 'offended' but we built the City, we turned it into the Capitol of the World, the Capitol of Culture, Art, Learning, Science, Education, Architecture - And then you raped and pillaged your way through Minor Asia to take it. Why should it be offensive if we refer to our Capitol's name as it should be? If the Seljuks actually built any cities of their own that Greece occupied I would agree with you in calling it Turkish names, but the sad fact is all that is now 'Turkish' was once Greek. |

| Turks are the most ultra-nationalist group of losers you could ever meet. Everywhere they go to have to put up their damn crescent flag, I saw one in Southgate Station once and ripped it down and spat on it. |

Yes my friend, but look at those pictures, those people are EXTREME nationalsits, how can one be such nationalist? I lay the blame firmly at the feet of the Turkish education system, it's indoctrination through and through. |

Pretty disgusting state of affairs. |

Actually that proved to be just rumors. Anorthosis president dismissed that he made such a proposal and he encourages fans to travel to Turkey for the second leg. |

| How many GC are gonna go to Turkey?...considering Anorthosis is originally from Famagusta. Most of the fans probably have there homes occupied by the country they are supposed to travel to. |
